Sat Nam, Namaste and Irie |
In 2008, I swapped one island for another, leaving London where I lived for many years and worked as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher & Karam Kriya Counsellor to pursue a life long dream of living in a sunnier place and I moved to Jamaica.
When asked then why Jamaica, I didn’t really know apart from the obvious, a beautiful warm sunny location.
I now know that there were things I needed to understand, that I could only learn and experience here, living in the midst of nature, alone and removed from all I previously knew.
An interesting healing empowering and amazing journey where the intention, vision and creation of the Guru Ram Das Centre kept me going in challenging moments.
The mantra: “Keep up. you’ll be kept up” expressed its magic daily.
I am infinitely grateful to Yogi Bhajan for the technology of Kundalini Yoga and especially his teachings for women and the high regard and recognition he gave us, naturally inviting us to do the same.
Coupled with the understanding I received from Shiv Charan Singh through Karam Kriya - the study of numbers through life and life through numbers - my wildest dream has been made possible and my life is filled with awe and gratitude.
I can only wish you the same and I am here to help you see it possible,
I share Yogi Bhajan’s dream that, every woman has the fundamental right to be respected, to be graceful and to be secure -
Love, blessings and miracles,
Mangal Jot Kaur.
